Do you know where you will go when you die? Well, we have good news for you! You can be absolutely certain that you will go to heaven. How? First, know that God loves you. The Bible says "For God so loved the world (you), that He gave his only begotten Son (Jesus), that whosoever (you) believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16).

Second, you must recognize that you have sinned & are separated from God because of your sin. The Bible says "For ALL have sinned & come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23).

Next, the Bible tells us that God reached out to you in love by providing a way to be free from sin, death, & hell. That way is Jesus Christ, & only Jesus Christ. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, & the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6). "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

Now, it's not enough to know these things & acknowledge that they are true; you must decide to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior & to live for Him. John 1:12 says, "But as many received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons (& daughters) of God, even to them that believe on His name." How do you receive Christ? It is simply a decision you make, not based on intellectual agreement or out of emotion; but it is an act of your will. It is an act of faith. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; & that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man (or woman) should boast." (Ephesians 2: 8-9)

Pray this prayer right now and choose to believe it in your heart. "Father God, I know that you love me & that you sent Jesus to this world to die in my place on the cross. I confess I am a sinner and have no hope without you. Please forgive my sin & come live in my heart. I choose now to believe in you & to make you the Lord of my life by living for you. I trust you. Thank you for answering my prayer. Thank you that I am now your child."

CONGRATULATIONS!
If you prayed that prayer & meant it, you are now a child of God!" You can now have confidence that you are free from spiritual death & hell, & are right with God. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus , & shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)

NOW WHAT?
If you want to grow as a Christian & live for God there are a few things God wants you to do. First, pray. Prayer is a simple thing. Just talk to God honestly. You don't need to use fancy Biblical words to pray. Talk to God everyday. Second, read the Bible everyday. Before you begin, ask God to help you understand what you are reading & to show you what He wants you to learn. God will open your eyes of understanding & speak to your heart. If you don't know where to start, start with the Book of John, & then Romans, then read the entire New Testament. Third, regularly go to a good church. What is a good church? A good church is one that preaches the Bible, that you must be born again according to John 3:3. A good church teaches that the only way to be saved is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and not by being a good person or by doing good things. Next, God wants you to tell other people about the decision you made. This is good news & God wants to spread this good news to everyone. He does this through people like you telling others.
